This organization was founded in 1942 as Gospel Chapel. The decision was made to rename the church in an effort to stay current. The church underwent the process of brand evaluation and strategic planning before relaunching with the new name Emerge Church.
The brand audit identified existing culture and brand touch points as well as new opportunities for marketing. Through the branding process, the board, congregants and staff developed messaging to support their church's beliefs and brand moving forward.
A new logo, website, internal processes, stationary, annual report, swag, and more were designed to build the visual identity of the brand.
We started by working with the decision makers and long-term members of the church. We listened order to identify strengths, weaknesses, threats, and opportunities in the project.
A documented a communications plan was established for the team to move forward with. We then worked alongside the staff to develop messaging, identify key audiences, and design the visual identity of the new brand.
The logo selected is an 'E', which has an arrow coming forth to illustrate the meaning of the word emerge.
